I made the mountains my life choice, becoming in 1984 the first female mountain guide in Italy (among the first in Europe).
On this journey, my husband and adventure companion Franco Giacomelli, a mountain guide, has always been at my side. We exercise the profession of full-time mountain guide, ranging from the classic mountain disciplines to the new specializations of canyoning and rope access.
Via ferratas
A path that winds along the rock face. Equipped with metal cables, steps and other fixed anchorages, walkways or suspension bridges. These materials placed on site make some types of rocky walls practicable even for people who are not particularly expert in mountaineering technique. To access this itinerary in safety, specific equipment is required: helmet, harness, via ferrata set with dissipator, gloves and trekking shoes.
Canyoning
From playing with water to abseiling down a rope in waterfalls, from jumping into deep and dark pools to swimming in the transparent waters of the great bends... canyoning is all this and much more, the descent of streams with mountaineering equipment and neoprene suit.
A sporting activity that combines the technical aspect with the discovery of environments of suggestive beauty in the world of water and rock of the stream.
